Help Honor Iconic Hydroplane Racer & Fish Captain By Seeing His Vision Through And Burial At Sea
Back in December 2023, during the holidays, our Fishing Captain George, an icon in the Seattle hydroplane racing scene in the 1970s & 1980s, died in a tragic car crash. George had a love for the water and dedicated his life to becoming a legendary fishing captain.
Capt. George was not only family to us, but a friend and mentor. When he died, he left a major hole in our hearts and family business.
The least we can do to honor him is see his wishes through and get the boat out on the Pacific Ocean fishing so we can spread his ashes. George's legacy will also live on at Seattle's iconic Fisherman's Terminal Memorial, where we can honor him on land and at sea as he wanted. In order to do so, we need funds to cover upgrades, repairs, and boat and memorial expenses to lay him to rest. Spreading of his ashes will be recorded on video at sea to allow the whole family to see him be laid to rest along with biodegradable wreaths.
