Help Fulfill Frances Eves's Legacy and Wishes

Frances L. (Hopkins) Eves, 83, of Milan, died peacefully at home on Friday, October 11, 2024. Cremation rites were accorded. Following the Scooby-Doo-themed Celebration of Life, the family would like to make Frances's final wishes a reality by having memorials erected at her local Animal Welfare Center, Conservation Club, other local and national charities, and other final expenses.
Frances was born in Detroit, Michigan, on March 19, 1941, a daughter of Melvin and Dorothy Wrede Hopkins. Her father was killed in action during his service in WWII.
She retired from the Palm Springs United School District in Palm Springs, California.
In addition to being an avid Scooby-Doo fan, Frances also loved to garden, shop at Goodwill, and adored all things dog. She also had a great sense of humor and was a phenomenal cook.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Chris Bravo, Coal Valley, IL; Cheryl Mutum, Milan, IL; Russell Eves, Palm Springs, CA; and Patti Nelson, Cary, NC; 24 grand and great-grandchildren combined; and sisters, Carol Gray and Laura Hopkins, both of Detroit, MI.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Bob Eves, Jr.; and brothers, Bob and Henry Hopkins.
