Help Fulfill Kathy Lowery's Last Request

Our mom, Katherine Elaine Lowery, sadly passed away very early in the morning of October 21, 2024. She was 77 years young. She was lovingly called Kathy by her many friends and "memaw" by her loved ones.

She had been battling an infection that took her to two different hospitals. Afterwards, she was transferred to a skilled nursing facility to begin therapy in order to regain some movement after those long days in a hospital bed. Unfortunately, confusion and pain set in over the weekend and she was unable to regain consciousness.

These events were completely unexpected. We are left knowing that we spent the last few days in her company and that she is no longer suffering. Her final request was to be cremated and be buried close to her family.
