Help Full Belly Brasil Combat Hunger and Climate Change

My name is John Dewald, and I'm raising money for Full Belly Brasil. There are plenty of great causes out there, but this is one I truly believe in. Full Belly supports families living in incredibly vulnerable situations in favelas across Brazil, and the amount of people they manage to help on a small budget is incredible.

Not only do they help struggling families, with $1 providing 20 meals, but they also have a huge impact on the environment. They do food recovery, working with big food distributors to cut down on huge amounts of food waste every year. Food waste produces CO2 and methane and is a major contributor to climate change.

For every $150 Full Belly spends on food recovery, they reduce enough greenhouse gasses to make the "average American" carbon neutral for a year and provide around 3,000 meals to families in need. They don't spend their money on an office space or employee salaries. They use it feed families and combat climate change. Their focus is, and has always been, on helping others. That's why I believe in Full Belly.
