Help Launch A Fairy Tale!

Most of you know me as a scriptwriter for Disney, some as an author of books, and a few as friends & family. Now I am the proud mamma of a new play with music! It's about a young orphan who inspires a family to see the light in the darkness...and after 2 years of development, we need 'seed money' to arrange the score and get A Fairy Tale ready for producers!

So many wonderful humans have joined me along the way--many thanks to Jacob Porter, Jeff Wirth, Mark Huffman, Alice Fairfax, Michelle Knight, Christie Evangelisto, Alisa Zinovoy, Bonne Kramer! We had a magical table read in February (with tears, laughs, sighs) and a staged reading planned for July. My team says 25k will cover venue, orchestration, musicians, actors, video documentation etc. The list of professional colleagues—old and new—who’ve jumped into this fairytale with me is inspiring. Now its my turn to ask you. Will you join me in this brave work? It takes a village to raise a play!

PLAY SYNOPSIS: In the wake of World War I, a young orphan and her battle-scarred cousin stumble upon something extraordinary in the Yorkshire countryside—fairies, or so she believes.
