Help Fund Grand Rapids Clothing Drive

Impermanence Magazine is led by a collective in Grand Rapids, Michigan, brought together to promote community, truth, creativity and vulnerability through story-telling and fashion. While we are in the launching phase, we would love your support for a cause that matters to us dearly.

What are we up to? We are putting together a local clothing drive ('Impazaar', a market by Impermanence Magazine) for youth and adults experiencing housing and/or financial insecurity. Our clothing drive is aimed to not only provide basic needs for our community, but to also promote the very things that Impermanence believes are a birthright — choice, individuality, and self-expression. Overall, this project is asserting the belief that all people — especially those experiencing lack — deserve the right to make choices for themselves, even when it comes to what to wear. We are working to design a clothing drive that is enjoyable, luxurious and abundant for our community to handpick their own pieces that highlight and prioritizes their personal identity. Ultimately, our goal is to provide a free shopping experience for at least 500 people, leaving them walking away with a sense of joy, ownership and a new wardrobe.

How can you help? During Phase 1 of our Social Impact Project, we are seeking monetary donations to be able to purchase the items listed below. Not only do we want to provide clothing for those in need, but we also want to make them feel special and loved by putting intention into their experience. This is not just a regular clothing drive — it’s an experience that affirms one’s humanity and place in this world.
