Hi my name is Jackie. My mother, Celia Gendloff was a loving, caring, strong woman who was apart of the Jewish Sephardic community. Her love for others was extraordinary. Celia gave to charity and constantly did for others. She attended synagogue at the Novi Chabbad and alway kept kosher. My mother’s only wish was to be buried by her family in the Jewish cemetery on Staten Island. The cost of the burial and stone were way more than expected and even more than I thought could be possible. The funds will only be used to purchase a stone that will be minimal with a tasteful design I created to express how loving and caring she was. I am so grateful and thankful for any help we can get. This would make my family’s lives easier, as we are working hard but don’t have any extra to spare right now.
