Help fund a memorial bench for a mother and son
Donation protected
We are raising money to fund a memorial bench in Prince George to remember a loving mother and son who have both passed too early. The bench will provide a place that anyone can go to enjoy the outdoor scenery and think of the moments they had with Terez and Dalton. A place to leave flowers on birthdays, special occasions and keep their memory alive forever.
The location of the bench will be chosen by family members, a list of options will be provided by the city. Instillation is between June and September. $3000 will cover the cost of the bench and provide flowers to decorate it for the grand reveal. This will be announced to everyone when it's complete.
Terez Anna Komlos was born November 27th, 1967 in Kitimat, BC. She was a beautiful, cautious but adventurous girl who would grow to be caring and nurturing to everyone that crossed her path. To know her was to be in love with who she was, and to never feel alone because she would always be there without fail. She was known to be a pillar in many lives, and the glue for her family in so many ways.
On April 28th, 1991 Terez brought Dalton James Fentie, the first of her 3 children, into the world and of course passed all of her amazing traits along. If you knew him you knew the kindness he was full of and how he was the type of person to take the shirt off his back for a complete stranger. A heart of pure gold. He had a light about him that would brighten any room he walked into, and natural talent that would leave you inspired after being around him.
Unfortunately both of these beautiful humans were dealt some tough cards that neither deserved and ultimately both of their bright lights were dimmed too early. Terez was taken by a long struggle with Cancer and Dalton had a hard battle with life and many of the struggles that can come with it. Both were true warriors.
Neither of them will ever be forgotten by anyone who had the blessing of knowing them. Two lights that were dimmed, but not put out.
May they rest together in peace.
Thank you for your contribution!
