Help fund a new school library
Donation protected
Would you like to join me in making a difference?
If yes, then please join me and the community of Sasedza in raising funds to build a library for Sasedza Primary School located in a remote village in Tsholotsho district, Zimbabwe. The parents and former pupils of the school have come together to form an association called Sasedza Primary School Focus Group (SPS Focus Group) with the aim to raise funds for this cause.
Why get involved?
We believe that every child deserves access to a school library and your donation could make it possible for children of Sasedza.
The availability of a library at SPS would help to ensure that;
Every pupil leaves Primary School as a confident reader and well prepared for higher education
All learners have access to a wide range of exciting fiction and non-fiction books in the school library
The needs of individual child is addressed working towards their full potential
But we need your help in order to achieve this and to hasten the construction of the school library
What are the estimated costs of the project?
Cost of entire building: £10,000.00
Cost of fitout (including books and computers): £4,000.00
Total cost: £14,000.00
Total raised to date: £1,250.00
Balance left to reach estimated amount: £12,750.00
So far SPS focus group members contribute R50.00 (£2.50) each towards the project on a monthly basis.
Any donation large or small would be of great help!
Thanks for your support
