❤️ Help fund Allie's facial hair removal ❤️

Hiya everyone & thank you so much for taking the time to look at my page!

I recently came out as a trans woman on 13/02/2023 & have begun my medical transition. I am currently taking estrogen which I acquire & fund for myself due to the lack of NHS gender clinic support.

This is all going well & currently I am able to afford this but unfortunately HRT is not as useful for fighting facial hair growth & have decided to go down the route of facial hair removal via Electrolysis.

I have 8 sessions booked & ready to go but unfortunately I am struggling to figure out how to afford it as each session is £70 & I would be going weekly.

I wish I wasn't doing this but I after speaking to some friends I have decided to try & fund this (even partially) via gofundme. I do not like the thought of asking my friends for financial support but I don't know where else to turn as the lack of support systems in Belfast & the UK as a whole means I am left with no affordable options. I have attempted to recieve treatment via GP referral but never recieved any response.

Lastly I just wanna say how much it means to me that you have took the time to read this or donate. Having to shave everyday with a straight razor is stressful & painful but also doesn't remove the shadow on my face, meaning I have to use make up to cover it. This treatment would be so gender affirming for me & would truly change how I can function in my day to day life.

So yeah, 8 sessions totals to my goal of £560 so would essentially cover me for two months. I do not expect this to happen but if my goal is reached & goes over any additional donations will be put towards future sessions & additional trans healthcare costs like blood tests & hormones etc. To keep everything completely transparent I will also post all confirmations of payments so that you know where the money is going. Also, if anyone does leave a larger donation please drop your name in & I will get in contact & do some art for you/your band or brand as a way to say thank you.

Thank you so much to everyone who donated, my mind is absolutely blown by all the love n support. Everyone has been so kind by sharing, donating & just giving me words of support. The fundraiser officially went over target yesterday which was so fast & so much more than I ever could have expected. As I mentioned before this treatment will be so gender affirming & will assist me in so many ways with day to day life. It actually means the world what you have all done for me n I just love you all so much ❤️

After discussing with friends n family I will be keeping the fundraiser open & increasing the target as truly I will be paying for hair removal long after my 8 sessions & if my face is successfully cleared in that time I will be planning to move to my chest as the next area. But in the future I won't be posting about it regularly as you have all been so loving & generous I don't expect anything from you all & will be personally reaching out to thank everyone who left their name or supported me.
