A Rare Visit to Victoria for conductor Howard Dyck

We are so lucky to have Canadian choral legend HOWARD DYCK travelling to Victoria to conduct the Mozart Requiem and other works on the STN Summer Choral Program from July 20-27, 2024.

We originally planned to perform the work with organ accompaniment, but now have the wonderful opportunity to put together an ORCHESTRA with full strings, woodwinds, brass, and timpani. What an incredible sound they will make for Howard, and for our soloists, choristers, and audience!

An Orchestra for Howard

The addition of an orchestra to our final concert will be a wonderful tribute to Howard Dyck and all he has done for music-making in Canada over his 50 year career.

To fund the players, we need to raise an additional $8500 CAD for our budget - can you help?

All donations will go directly to players fees.

Please note that as we are not a charity, donations are unfortunately not tax deductible. However we will acknowledge all donors in our concert program and on our website.
