Help Fund Ashley's Memorial
Donation protected
On March 12th, 2021 Ashley Sparks was found unresponsive at the young age of 22 after she suffered a massive heart attack. When she was found, she was resuscitated and rushed to the ICU. She put up a good fight but unfortunately the damage was irreversible and after many long days and nights, she was declared legally deceased on March 17th, 2021. Her death was not in vain, however, because she was able to save five lives with her organs as well as countless others with other tissues.
Now we have to face the harsh reality of life without her, and trying to figure out how to give her the send off she deserves. Just like everyone else, we had our own struggles during this pandemic, struggling to pay for our bills, let alone a funeral so unexpectedly. I know times are hard for everyone, but please help us lay Ashley to rest the way she deserves. All donations will be used to pay for her cremation and her services- anything at all helps.
Ashley was one of a kind, she was an enigma- we often called her special for a multitude of reasons. She brought light into the room when she walked in, brought laughter, jokes and a general feel goodness- there was never a dull moment with her around. There is no denying she had one hell of a temper, but at the end of the day she always had her way of making you forgive her.
-- We’re overwhelmed by the support shown so far and can't thank you all enough for helping our family during this time.
A note from Cassie (Little Sister)
These websites recommend that we pick a few memories to share in order to give people an idea of what type of person she was, but where do we begin? How do we boil down 23 years of love, adventure, and experience into just a few memories? From the times when we were just kids, and we would play in our dirt backyard, getting stung by red fire ants; to when we would stay up for hours watching the weather channel tracking a hurricane on the opposite side of the country. The long car rides with music, coffee, and my brother driving just a little too fast to be safe. The times where we would watch ghost shows all day long eating junk food, and talking about how haunted our house is. This is just a fragment of what made Ashley who she was, and who we loved.
