Deb is married to John, a long time missionary in So. Africa and through out the world. Their team is powerful and what God does through them is amazing. She has been given a beautiful voice and her worship is a true testament to what God has done in her life.
The past 4.5 years they devoted their lives to caring for their parents and preaching at a local retirement community.
On June 19th Deb had some pain in her right side, she ignored it thinking she had pulled a muscle. On June 25th the pain was so severe she went to the emergency room. She was told not to worry too much that the scan showed a hemangioma -a harmless mass of cells that can grow on the liver. Two days later the pain was so severe she was again rushed to the emergency room. This time to be told she had 6 bleeds on her liver and the diagnosis -liver cancer.
The Dr's rushed her into surgery to place coils in the bleeds, and she spent 7 days in recovery while the Dr's worked hard to regulate her blood levels. Eighteen years ago she was diagnosed with endocarditis and had emergency heart surgery to replace 1 valve. Because of the valve she is required to be on blood thinners. These thinners cause a bleeding issue with her liver. The Dr's keep saying she is a "complicated case".
We bring all of this to you on this platform for two reasons.
1. Please keep Deb in your prayers. We are believing miracles will happen! Complete healing is not too much for God!
2. Deb is uninsured. With the recent insurance changes, her insurance would have cost $200 less than her SS payments! She was counting down every day until she qualified for Medicare -only 13 months away. She lives in Texas where there is no Medicaid. The bills are adding up quickly and again, miracles are expected where the financials are concerned. You can be a part of those miracles.
