Help Fund Druis' DECA ICDC Trip to Orlando, FL
Donation protected
My name is Druis Kaye O'Brien and I'm a freshmen at Neenah High School. This year I competed in DECA for the first time. DECA is an organization that “prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management.” I and eight other individuals competed at the state competition, where five of us qualified for the International competition in Orlando, FL.
I was fortunate to qualify for DECA's International Career Development Conference (ICDC) with my written project, an Integrated Marketing Campaign event focused on a service. I prepared a 10-page paper, presented my proposal to a judge, and took a 100-question marketing exam. I will present my proposal again and take another exam at ICDC and represent Wisconsin DECA. There is expected to be 26,000+ students and advisors in attendance at this year's event.
There are many costs associated with the trip that includes airfare, hotel, conference registration, food, etc. I am trying to raise funds to offset these costs to myself. Any donation would be appreciated!
If you would like me to call or text you personally to tell you more about DECA, my project or to answer any questions you have, don't hesitate to ask.
Please note: Any funds raised over $800, I will save for future DECA competitions I attend.
Kind regards,
Druis Kaye O'Brien
