Update: as of 9:40 this morning (9/17/24), my Grammie has passed onto Gods kingdom and is finally at peace. Grammie unfortunately didn't have life insurance so all final costs will ultimately be placed with our family. If theres anything you can do to help we appreciate it immensely.
Hello friends and family We’re starting this fundraiser for my grandmother Elfrieda Fitchner Davis. After over a year of misdiagnosis, in February she was diagnosed with stage 3 pancreatic cancer. They attempted chemotherapy, however it was found that the therapy was making her sicker. They tried blood transfusions in order to continue the therapy, but it didn’t work as expected. After a CAT scan the doctors found that the cancer had spread to her liver and stomach, leaving her at stage 4 cancer with only a month left to live. Since then its been about 2 months. The mutual decision made between doctors as well as my grandmother was to discontinue the chemotherapy, and begin hospice care. Were asking for your help to set my grandmothers mind at ease, while she enters her last moments in life. We spoke with the funeral services about 2 weeks ago, to get an estimate on all the costs following her passing. Removal, and cremation will cost $1,995. Her wooden urn will cost $200.
She is also requesting to be buried with her late husband and daughter in a plot in the littleton cemetery, next to her granddaughter who passed away in 2004. The cost for that will be roughly $1,450
