Hi y'all. My name is Finley Muela, I'm a 21 year old non-binary transgender college student and I'm currently fortunate enough to serve as the drum major of the Bluecoats. My whole life so far has been a tumultuous journey in discovering myself, and deciding who I am and who I want to be, and I want more than anything to feel comfortable in my body for my ageout season in 2023. Drum corps is a sport that involves rehearsal in the Summer sun for up to 12 hours a day, and the clothing required to be successful gives me gender dysphoria that impacts my mental health every day, even outside of the activity. This is something that I've wanted to do since I can remember, but it's quite costly and insurance doesn't cover any of it, and on top of this I need to afford my drum corps season. Any help at all is extremely appreciated. Thank you so much for your time and consideration! I hope that I can be the representation for someone that I wish I would have had when I was young and terrified of being who I truly am.
