Help fund for nationals!!

It is with great joy that I get to tell you something very exciting for me. Part of a new journey in my life, I joined a team to help me excel in my culinary abilities. In January of this year I went to a regional competition and won first place! The next competition was state which I won, taking first place! I am the first ever in the district to get gold in the 75 years of this competition. Then to win state was an added blessing. This was amazing to see my love and developing talent for cooking be recognized. Ever since I was a little kid I would pull up the stool alongside my mother as she cooked. I loved watching, helping, and learning by her side. I was there helping during the years of foster care, providing meals for a large household. Other my life between my aunts house and our house. I’ve had over 108 Forster kids go through my house. As I’ve grown through the years I have also grown in cooking skills. I’ve enjoyed watching and seeing what I can do. I’m graduating this year and feel that this is a great way to end high school. Now I come to a new challenge. The school requires me to raise the money to pay for the trip. My school asked me to help find sponsors. Within the next two months I need to raise $3,500. On my own this seems impossible. Therefore, I am taking this step to present my situation and look for your consideration of helping me go to San Diego and compete in the national cooking competition.
