Help Fund Free Food Distribution in Philly!

The Unity and Survival program began on March 21, 2020. That day, the PSL volunteers of the Philly Liberation Center and the Norris Square Community Action Network joined together to deliver 60 boxes of groceries. 8 months later, the program remains volunteer run and has expanded to boxes composed of produce, shelf-stable goods, and dairy which provide supplemental food to 500 households every two weeks. Block captains have joined with volunteers to distribute hundreds of boxes to neighborhoods across Philadelphia and community organizations have come to trust the program for its ability to deliver food to those most in need.

With your help, we will continue to expand our services to larger sections of the city, facilitate delivery to at risk neighbors with already existing food distribution sites, and increase the amount of meals in each box that we deliver. As we enter an even deadlier wave of COVID-19, and more and more people fall into hunger and poverty, we must expand our network not only to make sure we are all accounted for, but also to unite and fight! While the ruling class neglected the people, the people found out that only solidarity can save them. Now more than ever we must come together and fight for what we rightfully deserve.
