Help Fund Harper's Kentucky Musicians Abroad Trip
Donation protected
Hi, I'm Harper's father, Jared Scott. I'm raising money for Harper's 'Kentucky Musicians Abroad' trip to Europe next summer (2023).
Harper is an up-and-coming young flautist from Kentucky with hopes of majoring in music in college and eventually becoming a professional musician. She has been playing the flute since 2018 and has participated in several bands, including Central Hardin High School Band, Central Hardin High School Marching Band, and East Hardin Middle School Band. Harper has won several music accolades and awards, including: "Best Woodwind" Central Hardin High School Band 21-22, "Flute 2nd Chair" KMEA Fourth District High School All-District Band 2022, "Distinguished" Solo and Ensemble KMEA Fourth District 2022, KMEA Fourth District Middle School All-District Band 2021, and was recently nominated to perform with other students from Kentucky in a European tour.
This trip involves six performances in six different countries (England, France, Switzerland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and Germany). The band will be organized by two outstanding University of Louisville music professors: Dr. Frederick Speck and Dr. Kent E. Hatteburg, providing Harper with valuable networking for college and beyond.
The estimated cost of the trip is $7,000, and her mother and I simply cannot afford to pay for the journey alone. Please help us fund this once-in-a-lifetime experience for Harper!
