We’re back, and this year’s Hauntsville Film Fest is more exciting than ever! After last year’s massive success, where over 500 people gathered to celebrate the best in indie horror, we’re ready to make the 2nd Annual Hauntsville Film Fest even bigger—and we need your help.

Hauntsville is proud to be the only woman-run horror film festival in the Southeast, and this year we’ve made a bold commitment: every movie featured will be written, directed, or produced by female, female-presenting, or non-binary filmmakers. We believe it’s time to amplify these often underrepresented voices in the horror genre, and with your support, we can showcase their work on an even larger scale.

Why We’re Raising Funds:

Although our festival is generously sponsored, there are still many expenses to cover to ensure the event runs smoothly and remains free for all attendees. Your contributions will help us fund:

* Upgraded equipment: To provide an even more immersive experience with better sound and video quality.

* Expanded venue space: This year, we’ve secured an indoor venue to accommodate even more horror fans and screen more films than ever before. We want to ensure that everyone can enjoy the festival comfortably, no matter the weather.

* Guest speakers: We’re excited to bring in guests from the world of horror and cinema to speak on everything from storytelling and directing to the challenges and triumphs of women and non-binary filmmakers in the genre. These talks will inspire and give a deeper insight into the creative process.

* Event logistics: This includes essential costs like film licensing, marketing, decorations, and other details that keep the festival running smoothly.

* Community activities: Immersive and interactive events that will engage attendees and make Hauntsville Film Fest a one-of-a-kind experience.
