Help Fund Joseph's Air Flight and Rehab
On April 8th, 2021, Joseph was involved in a terrible brain injury accident over 900 miles away from his home in Chattanooga, TN. His parents, John and Teresa, have traveled between both cities during this time. He was in critical condition for weeks, but eventually stabilized to begin the healing and recovery process. Over the last two months, he has remained in the hospital going between three intensive care units and then, finally being moved out of the ICU just a few weeks ago. The medical and hospital costs alone are unimaginable.
Over the past several weeks, Joseph has slowly been improving in his rehabilitation and is now ready for the next phase of his recovery. He has a long road ahead including his cognition recovery and his recovery to walk, talk, and use both his arms equally. What we all know is that Joseph is fighter. He has prayer armies everywhere and we are united in praying for his full recovery. Please join us in continued prayer.
Today, Monday, June 7, 2021, he was airlifted to a long term rehabilitation facility closer to home. The Shramko family will continue to need financial assistance. An air flight is estimated to cost over $20,000 without assistance. Unfortunately, this is not covered by insurance. The cost of the rehabilitation facility is unknown, but we do know it is one of the best in the nation and he is expected to be there for several months. Please consider any donation possible to go towards the air flight and rehabilitation cost.
