Help Fund Kobi's Jaw Fracture Surgery

Hi everyone, we are here to tell you this sad news about our dog, Kobi, and we could really use your help and support. Back in early June, while we were away, Kobi got into a bit of a tussle with another dog at home. Poor guy ended up with a fractured jaw and was bleeding all over the place, so we rushed him to the emergency room in a panic.

Since then, it's been a real rollercoaster ride for Kobi. To keep his jaw from moving too much, he's been on a strict tube-feeding routine and has to take painkillers and meds to ease the inflammation. On top of that, he's stuck wearing a cone and his mouth is wrapped up only allowing his tongue sticking out, which means no more munching on his favorite treats or chewing his beloved toys. We've been feeding him liquid food straight down his throat, and he can't even taste the flavors anymore. It's heartbreaking to see him like this.

The bills have been piling up, and it's been tough for us to keep up. The emergency room visit set us back $7,000, and then he had this accident where he pulled out the tube, which cost us another $2,000. Every other week, there are more expenses for vet checkups and changing bandages. Not to mention the ongoing costs for his special liquid food and meds. We're barely keeping our heads above water, and we just can't afford his surgery to speed up his healing.

Lately, the X-rays and CT scans have shown delayed recovery progress and the vet has recommended surgery to speed up the healing. The estimated cost for the surgery is another $7,000 that we cannot afford currently and we're really hoping he can get the surgery he needs to get better soon.
