Help Fund Okie Doke Productions

Hello movie lovers! 

Over the past four years, we at Okie Doke Productions have been honing our skills as filmmakers, and in that time, we have produced four feature-length projects: Mad About Science, Okie Doke, Nighty Night, and Holy Hell. These projects acted as our own personal film school, with each one teaching us a new aspect of filmmaking, while at the same time allowing us to craft unique and original stories. With these projects under our belt, we are now looking to the future. We wish to make Okie Doke Productions a more professional and legitimate entity as well as create new stories with the ultimate goal of entering our productions into film festivals across the country. To do this, however, we need your help!

We are currently seeking $3000 in order to fund both Okie Doke Productions at large as well as our next project, Slapdash Boondoggle. This project will consist of six short films, each unique and independent from the other. The goal of this project is to have a collection of polished shorts that we can then enter into film festivals or upload online in order to reach a wide audience. Your contribution will go a long way in helping us pay for all the costs associated with running a professional production company and the fees for entering our projects into festivals. It will also help us fund new equipment that will make our future projects as polished and professional as possible.

While our current equipment has served us well over the past four years, in order to take a serious leap forward as a production company, we must upgrade to meet certain standards that are expected in modern filmmaking. Your generous donation will help us procure a new 4k camera, a motorized gimbal for handheld shooting, and various pieces of sound equipment that will both improve and streamline our audio recording process. Each of these upgraded pieces of gear will not only increase the audio-visual quality of our future projects but will make the overall process of shooting easier for our team. 

For this fundraiser, every person who makes a non-anonymous donation, no matter the amount, will receive a special thanks in the credits of our next project, and any person who makes a non-anonymous donation of $200 or more will receive a producer's credit.  We thank you for your support and are excited about what the future holds for Okie Doke Productions!
