Help fund our fight against chronic illness

My name is Jeevan Mann, and I am a current student at the University of California, Davis. Something that most people would not know is I am currently fighting a degenerative and extremely rare variant of a connective tissue disease called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome(EDS). As a result of this disease, my quality of life has been significantly reduced not allowing me to do many of the things that I have done my entire life, like exercise and running. Due to the degenerative nature of my condition, I have required multiple major surgeries and out-of-pocket medical costs, many of which are not covered by insurance. Although I have an extremely rare variant, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome is far more prolific than originally thought. Current estimates even indicate that the most common form of EDS, hypermobile EDS, affects 1 in 500 people. That is why I have been working diligently for the past year to secure official 501c3 recognition for my nonprofit, Medical Inspiration Incorporation. With your help, our organization will aim to increase supportive measures for the chronically ill, along with funding research to find a potential cure. Even though these conditions cannot yet be cured, we will work meticulously to ease the burden of chronic illness, and any donation made towards this goal will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
