Keep Sculpture Parks Alive in Montreal

Help keep art alive in Montreal green spaces!

Your donation goes toward the upkeep and creation of new artwork in two well-loved green spaces in the Mile End and Rosemont. This is an artist-run and funded project. With the costs of materials and studio space going up, your support really counts.

The parks are Le Jardin du Crépuscule on Avenue Van Horne, and Enfield Path on the gravel path next to Rue des Carrières. They flank the Canadian Pacific rail line between the Mile End and Rosemont: Every day, hundreds of people see and enjoy more than a hundred works installed here. Among these steel creations, people walk and daydream, play with kids, bring their dates or walk their dogs. My name is Glen LeMesurier, and I’ve been installing art in the everyday life of these neighbourhoods for over 20 years.

Now I need your help. I’ve always single-handedly funded, created and installed the sculpture. You can often see me in the parks working on them. But now, I can’t continue without public support. Expenses have increased, especially the cost of my studio and materials.
