Dear Chicken Tender Lovers Around the World,
This message is in regards to the recent removal of chicken tenders, otherwise known as the "flying chicken platter," from the menu at Houston's Restaurant.
My friends and I are high-school students and frequent customers of the chicken tenders at Houston's restaurant. We always buy at least 1-2 chicken tender platters at every visit. Eating chicken tenders together allowed us to become much closer over what we believe is genuinely the best meal on the planet. Removing the chicken tenders permanently would devastate us, so we are doing something about it.
Over social media and through our own word-of-mouth advertising, we founded a large community of people that are passionate about this menu item and have amassed over 3,000 tender lovers on our Instagram account, BringBacktheTendies. We have led several campaigns to try and get the attention of Hillstone, such as a petition , mass-email campaign, and t-shirt protest. However, we have not received much response from these actions, so we are going to do the unignorable and display a billboard right on top of Houston's West Paces Atlanta.
We are attempting to raise $5,272 from our friends, family, and fans to afford this billboard. It will cover the exact amount of the billboard rental for four weeks as well as the production cost of the 20ft x 60ft board. The design has not been created yet; the one pictured is just a mockup. Donations will be personally withdrawn by the GoFundMe organizer, Ajay Sachdev, and he will be responsible for using the funds appropriately.
If you want a chance at returning the best chicken tenders known to man, this is the only way we can have a chance. We need to get the attention of corporate, and a billboard will do just that. Any dollar and share counts towards this goal. Do your part, and let's collectively get back what we have been fighting for.
