My name is ileána Godthschild, maybe you know me as The Fab You on social medias. Firstly, I would like to thank you for taking the time to read our mission and possibly help us in any way possible, truly I appreciate it. I am starting a GoFundMe to help raise awareness and funding for a very special near and dear to my heart passion project, The Fab Bunch Rescue. An animal rescue, rehabilitation, clinic and fostering services in my hometown of Tecate, Baja California Mexico.
LOCATION:
Tecate is a very small border town (neighbors Tijuana) that lacks a proper animal rescue facility as well as outside reach and funds. I had always had a plan to start my own animal rescue as a young entrepreneur, but due to the recent current events of witnessing how much help is needed, I knew I had to make some proper chances quickly to kick start The Fab Bunch.
MISSION STATEMENT:
The Fab Bunch Rescue plans on being a positive platform to showcase how a loving environment can help immensely establish more awareness on adopting rescue animals so more families choose to adopt before they shop. Our mission is to be a one-stop-shop facility to help give families the chance to be able to afford to have a pet, with helping provide low-budget amenities and veterinary services. As the rescue grows, our plan is to expand to gain more real state so the animals have a bigger playground meanwhile they are reunited with their fur-ever home. As well as, empowering others to care more of the well-being of animals, learn that us humans are born natural nurturers and help end animal cruelty. Using our voice to advocate for animal rights is what we stand for and we will always stand for.
ACTION PLAN:
I have been creating a business plan to organize the vision on how I want the project to flourish and I am purposely keeping some plans to myself for security reasons and outside malaise. But in a nutshell, I am raising funds to help fund the architectural part of the project for rebuilding and building inside what is needed to have a proper, loving and safe animal rescue facility. I have a home already there, an antique Victorian house, which is quite roomy holding 4 bedrooms and just 1 full bathroom. The house itself is in good standing from the upkeep within the years but the inside needs TLC to have a proper kitchen area, lobby, clinic space as well as proper housing for the rescue animals.
FUNDING PLAN:
The Fab Bunch Rescue will rely on mostly outside donations gained from social media outreach, as well our YouTube channel monetization and the non-profit magazine I am currently working on launching soon, The T.F.Y. Magazine. The plan is to use my connections that I have gained through my professional career of being a Visual Concept Designer, and contact pet companies to donate goods needed to maintain the rescue like healthy food, toys, bedding equipment, medicine, supplies, etc. Lastly, since the U.S. dollars value more in Mexico from the currency exchange, it transfers to more Mexico pesos, a small amount can make a big difference!
COMMUNITY:
Although the small town of Tecate lacks a proper physical rescue there is already an independent Facebook group, C.A.T., that I am in friendly contact with. They have been helping raise funds from the local community to heal animals found in the streets, and help pay for the medical bills as well as helping find the animals a fur-ever home! I strongly believe we are stronger together and the organization already is in tune with the plans I have for The Fab Bunch and supports the cause.

PERSONAL NOTE:
My passions have always steered me in the right direction and my passion for animal rights, has always been near and dear to my heart since I could remember. I have been vegan, living a plant-based diet, for over 10+ years, always had animals growing up from birds, to turtles, dogs, and even a hamster! I am an animal whisperer and are very in tune with the energies of our universe. I know this is a God given mission and my Faith gives me the strength to persevere in my ambitious aspirations. I want to share the knowledge I have gained from my personal experiences on rescuing and adopting because I know it does require a lot of patience and love since in most cases the animals come with traumas and lack of human trust. I rescued my first dog in 2019 from a beach town in Mexico, I adopted 2 doggies in 2020 from a loved one who passed away suddenly, and recently have gained another doggie that needed a lot of nurturing due to the traumatic abuse endured in his upbringing. I'm just a dog mom, a cool mom and know I'll be able to rescue more animals in the near future. A lot has happened in my life that derive from abuse physical, mental, and more and that has inspired one of my missions in this lifetime is to save animals from struggling conditions and abuse. A lot can happen, a lot of positive change can happen if we connect for the better because we are stronger together! For the good of all and harm to none. Xoxoxx
