DONATE FOR DEEP CHANGE IN THE LIVES OF 34 WOMEN LEADERS FROM AROUND THE WORLD

What if you could be part of a ripple effect of liberation in the lives of 34 international women leaders?

Women who work on the front lines as:
-peace builders
-anti-racist; anti-oppression, anti-apartheid; and anti-genocide guides
-academics supporting students
-facilitators of supporting just systems
-economists helping women to become financially independent
theologians teaching decolonized spirituality
-past policy makers
-past UN consultants
-interfaith leaders teaching facilitation skills
-youth business development team members
-artists, writers and musicians whose liberation work is through their artistry
-trauma experts offering decolonized support

These women leaders are impacting their communities on a daily basis—from London to Isamabad to Cape Town.

We are bringing together 34 women leaders from around the globe to participate in a week-long, equity-based Somatic Women's Leadership Retreat near Cape Town, South Africa.

The retreat will be facilitated by Amy Babish, MA, LPC, ATR-BC a somatic relationship coach and house therapist with over 20 years of expertise as a mentor, facilitator, licensed psychotherapist, credentialed art therapist, NLP mindset practitioner, and intuitive.

What holds women leaders back?

The identity-based judgements that we carry, including intergenerational and system patterns, live in the body. These patterns oftentimes hold women leaders back because of the complex emotional, physical, and spiritual patterns they carry. This contributes to burnout, as well as chronic health problems.

What happens in a week of deep change work with 34 women?

-Capacity building and skill-building that they can use in their personal and professional lives.
-Pain and symptom relief that dissolves years—even decades—of emotional, physical, and spiritual pain, confusion, and struggle.
-Connecting with parts of themselves that they didn't know existed.
-Laughter, wholeness, aliveness, reconnecting with vitality, unspeakable joy.
-Embodied movement—a.k.a. Dancing. Movement as medicine.
-Forgiveness and self-forgiveness
-Grief work
-Anger processing
-Reclaiming one's authentic voice.
-Synchronicities that can't be imagined.
-And many other experiences, too sacred to name here.

Thirty four women–standing on the shoulders of their ancestors—coming together for a deeply transformational experience and community building.

Here’s the lineup:

-More than 70% of the group are global majority citizens, ie. Black, Indigenous and Women of Color.
-The group is predominantly South African, as one of the initiating group members is an Anglican Priest and accolade of the late Archbishop Desmond Tutu.
-Other group members include women from Arabic-speaking countries, Europe, and North America.
-Ages range from early twenties to sixties.
-Diverse faith backgrounds and atheists.

What do they share in common? Each of these women have already made an incredible impact in their communities and the larger world.

The schedule:

During our transformational week together, we'll be working daily from 9am to 6pm. The group will be well-nourished, as this work takes an immense amount of energy. They'll receive meals and snacks each day, meeting all of the dietary possibilities. We have also incorporated rest into the day with a break at midday for participants to rest, move their bodies, connect with each other or connect with loved ones.

From Amy Babish:

This will be my second pro bono retreat in South Africa, and many of the women in this group have worked together with me for over two years.

Some of the women for this retreat have committed to meeting twice a month for nine months for a virtual Somatic Women's Circle to build capacity and work through layers of intergenerational and collective patterns for themselves, personally and professionally.

The other women will be meeting weekly for six weeks prior to the retreat to have a shared language for the somatic work we'll be doing during our week together.

The cost?

The estimated cost of this retreat for 34 women is US$50,000. This includes:

-7 nights accommodation
-3 meals and 2 snacks per day
-Local transportation
-One afternoon adventure with transportation
-International flights for 8 women, ranging from 12 to 30+ hours
-Paying a Global Majority facilitation assistant

How can you become part of a circle of transformation?

Any donation—from $5 to $10,000—will be incredibly supportive to this circle. Nothing is too small. Nothing is too much.

Amy Babish offers this work completely pro bono, including the monthly group, weekly group, retreat planning, and retreat facilitation, as her commitment to using her privilege for reparations work and dismantling white supremacy. She is committed to dignity, respect, safety, and joy for all people.

I guide global leaders, peace builders, Fortune 20 executives, entrepreneurs, and innovators who know there MUST BE MORE to dissolve intergenerational patterns, build nervous system capacity, and connect them to their True Selves, impact, and legacy with humility, pee-your-pants laughter, and je ne sais quoi. My social impact business values integrity, joy, aliveness, and dismantling white supremacy.

I offer private coaching, intensives, and curated retreats.

I live outside of Washington, D.C. on Doeg land that I steward with my cottage core loving teen, partner, and goldendoodle.

Join us in the spirit of generosity and liberation as we enlarge the circle of fully alive, vibrant and vital women leaders in our world.

Please give today to support this life-changing opportunity for 34 women leaders from around the globe.

Fund this deep change that will be felt in communities around the world and through the generations.
