Help Fund Tobias' Fight Against Leukemia

Tobias is a bright, beautiful and happy 2-year-old baby boy who, as a miracle double rainbow baby, came into this world touching the lives of everyone around him. Youngest of 7 children, with parents Charity and Felix, those that know the family know just how resilient they are. Although Tobias has to fight a bit harder than the rest of the kids his age to live a long, healthy life, he has all of us to support him in his fight against B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.

With the goal of lifting the financial weight off the family in order to devote all of their attention solely on Tobias’ health and recovery, this GoFundMe has been organized to help raise funds to cover any medical bills and other needs that may accrue during the estimated 3 years of treatment.

Much of Tobias’ early symptoms started with restless nights, pain, nausea, and changes in behavior. After various testing and bone marrow biopsy procedures, any parent's worst fear was confirmed as doctors finally reached a diagnosis. At the hands of a wonderful team of pediatric oncologists who have kept a close watch on his progress, he will certainly be well taken care of as this new reality is navigated. Faced with this current reality, Mom can no longer work and has had to close her small business for the duration of treatment as both parents take turns being present with the baby and tending to the rest of the household.
