Help Fund Tommy’s Funeral

Uvanga Christine Eunice Angnetsiak, Ottawamiitunga Mittimatalikmiutaujunga. My name is Christine Eunice Angnetsiak. I live in Ottawa, originally from Pond Inlet, Nunavut, and I’m doing this on behalf of Tommy Angnetsiak’s father, Robert. On April 6, 2024, a body was found on the riverbank of the Ottawa River in Gatineau. On April 11, 2024, Gatineau police called me to tell me that it was my cousin, Tommy Robert Angnetsiak, who was found. He was reported missing by his father, Robert, last month. Tommy is also originally from Pond Inlet, Nunavut and lived in Ottawa for a while. His birthday was in a few weeks, on May 26. Unfortunately, Tommy struggled with addiction, which made things very hard for him while he was living down south with easier access to drugs and alcohol, which is why he stayed addicted. He was only 30 years old when he passed. He was a kind, caring, loving, outgoing, funny person and would always put a smile on your face. Unfortunately, his casket and funeral arrangements will not be covered, which is why I’m requesting for donation on his father’s behalf. Thank you for taking the time to read his story. Qujannamiik.
