Help Fund Treatment for Kidney Disease

Hey everyone! One of my favorite people and aunt, Clydette Hutchinson, has been battling serious health challenges lately. I’ve started this campaign to share her story and seek support for the difficult journey that is to come.   

She's been diagnosed with late-stage kidney disease which has been wreaking havoc on her body. Most recently it landed her in the hospital for a few days as she received multiple blood transfusions! She’s a fighter though, and that’s one of the things I love about her.

For my entire life I’ve seen her derive immense joy from supporting friends, family, and anyone else who made it to her doorstep, with whatever resources she was able to spare. She is a loving wife and adoring mother, not just to her son, but to all of us who she has unofficially adopted into her caring embrace.

Thankfully, we've identified a treatment center that is confident in its abilities to begin reversing her condition. The center, Wildwood Health Institute, has reviewed her medical records and Clydette finally got approved to be treated at the facility! We are very excited for her to start treatment but were dismayed to learn that her insurance would not be covering it.  

My goal in trying to raise this money is to be able to pay for the 4 week stay at this health center where she will undergo intensive treatments that have been shown to help patients similar to her.
