Help Fund Ty

Hi! My name is Victoria and I'm organizing a fundraiser for our dear sister Ty Bramwell of Ebb & Flow by Ty.

On Monday around noon Ty was in a horrible accident. She had overheated a gallon of soy wax & the handle instantly snapped off pouring hot wax / oil down her top and inner thighs and feet and on top of the burner, starting a wax fire in the burner. Adam, her partner, was tending to the fire. She was trying to get out of the shop and get her dress & shoes off because the wax was melting into her skin. Due to the slickness of the wax, when she tried to step back, she slipped, and fell backwards into the pool of wax and burned her entire back, sides, shoulders, arms and butt.

Adam rushed her to Renown ER in Reno where she was then Care Flighted to UC Davis Medical Center Burn Unit. She is 30% covered in 2nd and 3rd degree burns and will be in the Burn Center ICU for 3-4 weeks minimum, as well as in and out of surgery. This kind of medical situation can take upwards of months to heal and is extremely painful.

She is on pause in every aspect of life for a big minute but is feeling lucky it wasn’t worse and feeling so grateful for the impeccable care she is receiving in Sacramento.

Ebb & Flow is Ty, Adam & one employee’s livelihood & life. Ty and Adam are uninsured because of being business owners. She is an extremely hard worker and puts so much love and care into the products she gifts to this world, alchemizing the plants and spirit of mama Earth in every candle, oil, and scrub she makes.
