Help Fund Urgent Medical Tests

Hello, friends.
As some of you may know, my health took a very sudden turn in 2018. I abruptly lost weight and within several months found myself battling almost every type of symptom and pain under the sun. I started seeing numerous doctors and specialists with either no answers, contradicting diagnoses, or prescriptions for aggressive injections after only 2 doctor visits and basic bloodwork.

Once I accepted that I was on my own with intent to heal, I began making drastic changes in my diet and lifestyle. A few examples include eliminating processed junk, wheat, refined sugar, quitting smoking, supplementing, yoga, and various detoxes. There was a lot of trial and error and money wasted in effort to find the best option or answers sometimes.

Over the course of the next 3 years these changes very slowly but steadily paid off as I went from sleep deprived and mostly couch-bound to something much closer to normal again.

I had eventually eliminated around 95% of my symptoms and suffering—That progress happened in spite of one doctor telling me that changing my diet would not help me.

However, about two years ago a few new problems slowly introduced themselves, and have since gotten worse, mostly in the past several months. It all started with discovering (2) benign meningioma brain tumors after several emergency room visits for visual distortions as well as unbearable pain in kidney areas.

At this point in time I’m randomly nauseous with dizzy spells on a daily basis—this is probably the most burdening problem I’ve failed to fix myself. There is nothing I can concentrate on or engage in this state, which is becoming a significant part of the day. It ruins quality time with loved ones. Digesting any type of food whatsoever is an unusually long and excruciating process.

The pains in kidney areas happen almost daily, while the sharp pains in the brain tumor spots mirror the severity of the digestive system problems at any given moment. I learned the explanation for this seeming ‘coincidence’ is because brain inflammation is gut inflammation. It makes sense, but I’ve only been able to speculate in my case. Random shortness of breath, heart palpitations, and chest pains are some other issues.

The insatiable thirst/dehydration is never relieved by endlessly chugging mineralized water… and the unrelenting cycle of it all going straight through me is exhausting, and must be taxing on my kidney and bladder—This is one problem that every single doctor made very clear that they do not consider a problem at all, and therefore won’t be discussing. This is also one of the few original symptoms I couldn’t shake in 6 years, and is still interrupting my sleep between 2 and 6 times every night. When you don’t fall back asleep quickly, this is devastating in the long run.

I should add that all blood work and scans have relentlessly showed ‘normal’ kidney and liver function, along with everything else showing ‘normal’

I don’t have it nearly as bad as others do, and so typing out the worst of my problems here doesn’t feel good at all. But I’m ready to accept the fact that I need these specific tests to have any chance at being reasonably healthy again, which are unfortunately far out of the budget. I want things to get better, and I know I’ve hit a hard dead end with what I can know and therefore what I can fix.

It came down to this: I want to be me again. I want others to have the best version of me back again…

So I’m choosing to ask for help. My hope is to raise enough to get all four tests. If I’m fortunate enough to raise anything beyond that cost, it would surely go toward whatever treatment plan they advise as well as follow up appointments over the course of a year or more. But make no mistake, I’ll be eternally grateful just to finally get the testing done and cross the other bridges as I approach.

I won’t know how to say thank you to anyone who might help me reach this goal. The words alone won’t cut it.

Sincerely,
Teresa

Sidenote:
bodybyaim360.com is the service I chose and pricing used to determine my goal in this fundraiser. They are the most straightforward and affordable I’ve found so far, at least with the tests that they offer. They have several physical locations, one being close by. Their website openly lists these test prices (4 total—all of which are important for me) if you wish to verify, but does not list prices of follow ups or treatment plans as those are always personalized and complex. But again, if I’m fortunate enough to somehow surpass the goal of obtaining these tests, anything else will be used for follow ups and the treatment plan according to test results. I promise to periodically update my friends regarding my treatment and progress should I continue using this service beyond the tests. Thank you again. ❤️
