Hi,
My name is Rossanny and I am fundraising to get a decent animal shelter in the city of El Limon-Aragua, Venezuela, as well as medicines, medical attention, and pet food for low income family pets for the Ocumare de la Costa furry friends.
Our organization rescues dogs and cats from the streets and also helps low income families meet the basic needs of their beloved pets. We have little help and sometimes no help. Our mission is to help all furry loyal friends and pets of low income families of the region.
Currently, the area where we shelter the dogs does not have a roof, only a few leaky sheets of thin steel, so when it rains (and it rains a LOT), our furry friends get wet. In addition, we do not have veterinarians close to our shelter and we have to transport the emergencies to the nearby city of El Limon- Aragua, Venezuela. We are asking for contributions to buy a place for our organization in the city, close to the doctors who can help with our critical cases.
Another one of our biggest problems that we have in the region is that many people don't have money to buy their pet’s food or pay for neutering surgery. We are asking you to help to enable us to continue helping low income families with their pets’ basic necessities such as vaccines, food, medicines, and first aid supplies. Your contribution can make it possible for people to keep their beloved pets, and keep them healthy.
Your support can make the difference in achieving both of these goals. Remember, animals do not have politics. Their only agenda is to give us their love and companionship. All they ask of us is food, shelter, and to be loved in return. The strays pets of Venezuela desperately need your help - please help.
