Help Funding a Robotics Team to Houston, WorldFest

Wolf Corp. Robotics Team, from Walnut High School is extremely excited to be advancing to an International Invitational Tournament, World Festival in Houston, this April 14-18, 2020. We are eager to bring our Robot to compete and inspire other children from around the world.
Wolf Corp. Robotics FTC Team #12525 from Walnut High School won the Connect Award at the 2020 LA Regional Championship Tournament and is advancing to the World Festival in Houston. The Connect Award is the judged award that is given to the team that most connects with their local science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) community as well as engaging the local community in STEM and Robotics. To make this trip possible, Wolf Corp. Robotics Team needs your support. We have only 1 month to raise the funds to pay for airfare and other expenses. All donations are TAX-DEDUCTIBLE (95-6003446) and any amount will be greatly appreciated.
Wolf Corp. Robotics Team from Walnut High School is comprised of eleven 10th grade and two 9th grade students who are Kawin Watkins, Nathan Tan, Gordon Lau, Jason Wang, Conor Fox, Kewin Yu, Joshua Hsu, Eric Wang, Sarah Wang, Daniel Ji, Chandrark Muddana, Glory Zhang, and Zhenkai Weng. The team is overseen by Mr. Scott & Mrs. Lek Watkins, volunteer coaches, and Ms. Amanda Lindemann, WHS Robotics Club Advisor.
This year is our 3rd year together as an FTC Robotics Team. We learned a lot from competitions. Wolf Corp. Robotics Team goal is to connect FIRST with STEM Communtity and bring people in the communities to FIRST. We met with countless STEM experts to learn about Engineering and hosted numerous outreach events to inspire young student in STEM such as at Science Fairs, STEM Fairs, and libraries. Kids and adults are amazed by our robots and the FIRST program.

Wolf Corp. Robotics Team from Walnut High School hopes to raise $15,000 to cover the airfare cost and expenses so that we can bring our robot to compete and share with other children from around the world at 2020 FIRST World Festival in Houston.
