Funeral Expenses for Officer Jay K. Otey

Hello, we are Dillon Otey and Eddica Sanchez, as many have offered we would love everyone to help us commemorate our extraordinary father, Jay Otey. The sudden and untimely passing has left us all speechless and heartbroken. 

 

Our father, Jay Otey was an amazing son, brother, friend, dad, grandfather, and officer. Jay was born and raised in Denver and Graduate from South HS.



 

 

 

Ever since he was a kid he wanted to do one thing, drive a black and white and protect and serve the city and state he not only grew up in but loved.



 

Sworn into the brotherhood in 2000 he began changing lives and making Denver a better and safer place to live and raise not only his children but wanted to make a difference that would last generations for everyone. After 21 years of service dedication and loyalty to the amazing family known as the Denver Police, we ask to help show him the love that he has spread throughout the years.



 

Our father, Jay Otey had 2 grandchildren who adored spending time with him every chance they got. Grandpa Jay’s visits made such an impact on them and they will never forget his jokes and loving nature.

 

 

 

He was a genuine man who made a great impact wherever he went and was loved by so many. We have heard so many amazing stories about him and can’t wait to hear more.



 

We as his children would like to make his true final passing and last goodbye to never be forgotten and our Father Officer Jay Otey will never be forgotten and forever respected.
