Help Funny Castillo's Road to Recovery

Funny Castillo, is our beautiful dog, adventurous and sassy, she is almost 13 years old (young).

This past Saturday, all of a sudden, she started having stomach issues. By Sunday morning, things took a turn for the worse, and we rushed her to the ER in Westford, MA.

We waited, for what felt like an eternity, finally she got seen by the doctor. A few hours later, the doctor gave us the only two options: let her die or surgery. There was an immediate reaction from Funny’s mom, Aleida. She cried and knew that she was going to give Funny a fair chance, so surgery it was.

The same day, Sunday, June second, surgery took place (massive surgery) removing a linear foreign body from her stomach and small intestines, splenectomy, and two lipomas. She was supposed to stay at the hospital for 24 hours, but things got complicated with her recovery. Now, she is going into her second night in intensive care. We are hoping and praying for her to come home soon. We have seen her a few times for a short period of time, it is heartbreaking!

The bill is growing and growing, please help us in this very difficult time, right now the bill is almost 10 thousand dollars, anything helps. From the bottom of our hearts, we appreciate all of the help.
