STORE BURNT DOWN! HELP FURKAN REBUILD HOLLYWOOD FC

Asalamualaikum (Peace be unto to all of you)

My name is Furkan Ahmed Khan. For 30 years of long, hard work and dedication, my partner and I built our fried chicken restaurant (Hollywood Fried Chicken) from the ground up. Unfortunately, on June 1st of 2024, on a Saturday night at around 11:50 pm, all of our blood, sweat, and tears that we put into this business for 30 long years got absolutely destroyed. All of the hard work that we have sacrificed together as a family got completely demolished and now we are left with nothing.

The whole building caught on fire due to one of the residents living in the same building having some electrical problems which fused the fire. Once the fire started, it just kept growing more and more until finally, the whole building burst into flames causing the whole building to be destroyed. Multiple other residents and other businesses were affected by this, like us.

Now, it's a very hard time for myself, my partner and his family because this store was our bread and butter and now we have literally nothing. We've been jobless, looking for new jobs for the past 2 weeks and at the same time, we have been trying to figure out any possible way to make ends meet with this horrible situation. We also do not have insurance for our business due to the fact that it was too expensive for us to afford. Either way, the coverage of the insurance for our business was little to nothing so it was clearly not a benefit for us to be paying so much out of pocket for.

So now, we ask for help from our beloved friends, family, and our great community to support us in our journey to get back on our feet and start all over once again… Any amount helps, small or large.
