Help Gabby and Lex with Recovery

Hi! We are Gabriela and Alexis Mont, sisters from a small county in Virginia. After working hard and saving enough money to move, we got our first apartment together in the beginning of September. We were trying to hit the ground running when life decided to life and an unexpected event occurred. A month after moving, with boxes still to be unpacked, we were involved in a devastating car accident. We and three other friends (one pictured) were hit while parked after a great evening together in Richmond Va. Lex and the others in the vehicle were left with concussions and whiplash. Unfortunately, Gabby was left with severe leg injuries resulting in a lengthy hospital stay and multiple surgeries. Through it all we have done the best to stay positive and be thankful for our and our friends' lives. While our family is helping the best that they can, the financial responsibilities have started to pile up. Lex has been staying with Gabby as much as possible, while trying to maintain the apartment and pets at home and trying to afford food and other basics. This whole ordeal has been both a mental and physical challenge, and there is a very long road to recovery. We would be so appreciative of any help as we transition back to daily life and the expenses that come with it; and have been so thankful to all that have helped us so far.
