Gables Dogs and Cats Home in Plymouth have been trying to purchase the small parcel of land (verge) from Plymouth City Council outside of their site in Plymouth for years, since the Merafield Road bridge was replaced. The land is approximately 0.3 Acres (0.13 Hectares)

Plymouth City Council has now put this up for auction on 4th December, with a guide price of £2,000 without offering it directly to the charity. Whilst the guide price is £2,000 being an auction, the land could go for more depending on the day.

It is sad that Plymouth City Council can't offer this land directly to the charity for purchase, and I cannot see what anyone else would want to do with the land.

Your contribution will help make an impact, and will help go towards being able to bid on this small piece of land, keeping vital charity funds for the animals in their care.
