Help Gabriel Ayala Keep His Home
Donation protected
This pandemic has been a nightmare for all of us in the Music & Entertainment Industry, and finding ways to navigate it has been all or our challenge. But when I heard that Gabriel Ayala was about to lose his home in 28 days...well, a GoFundMe is simply the best answer I can imagine!
Gabriel is musical Royalty, though he's too humble to say so. A world-renowned performer, having toured with an incredible roster of bands and guitar virtuosos, including: Carlos Santana, Yngwie Malmsteen, Zak Wylde, Marty Friedman, Steve Vai, the Temptations, the Four Tops, Richie Havens, and Dr. John, to just name a few. He's performed everywhere imaginable, from the Kennedy Center to the National Museum of the American Indian (in DC and NYC), from Barack Obama's 2nd inauguration to performing for the Pope (!) in St. Peter's Square. A music teacher, with a Master's degree from the University of Arizona. He's an incredible visual artist as well, with award-winning pieces on display in galleries across the US. When 2020 dawned, he was getting ready for the best year yet (as we all were). A tour in Australia and New Zealand booked, a year-long gallery contract with the Amerind Gallery...a year full of hope and promise. And then, Covid hit, and everything cancelled. Arizona unemployment declined him, despite multiple applications. He has worked hard to save his home, selling his artwork personally, even launching new lines of art prints, t-shirts and mugs, and finally, even some of his beloved, custom-painted guitars. Every week, he offers free concerts online, bringing his humble spirit of hope and love to his fans.
We all know how difficult it is to receive help as a self-employed artist. In 28 days, he will be forced to vacate his home & studio, a home he has created his music and artwork in for9 years. Please join me in NOT letting that happen. Gabriel has shows booked for later in 2021, and a 2022 that is looking incredible. If we can help him navigate this one block in the road, he can save his home, his studio, and everything he's worked so hard to fill them with. Every contribution helps- nothing is too small! If you can't afford, please share, or send a supportive comment or a prayer....he will appreciate everything.
Thank you for reading, and I hope we can all celebrate life and music together again when this is behind us!
