Help Gabriel Follow His Dreams

Gabriel began his soccer career at the age of three when he was signed up for Concord Timbits. It wasn`t long before he feels in love with the game and soon he was recognized as a raw talent and picked up as an underaged player for the Concord Festival Team. The following year, Gabriel moved on to play on the Festival Team fulltime as the goalkeeper, where he stayed for the next six years. As he was winding down his final year of Festival U12, he was invited to an Academy to assist in a couple of games where they were short a goalkeeper. The first game in the Super Group CAF U13 league was against the 1st place team in Ontario. They won! For the first time in history, the Academy beat the best team in the province. This secured his spot on the team perminately. For the past three months, Gabriel has been training approx. 1.5hrs from home 3-4 days per week so he can follow his dreams of becoming a professional soccer goalkeeper.
The end of October he decided he wanted to try out for the CAF U14 all-star team heading to an international tournament in Rome, taking place for 10 days over Christmas Break. Gabriel was officially announced as the goalkeeper for the Canadian Academy of Futbal U14 team representing Canada in Rome. This is an amazing opportunity for him to further his career, training as well as exposure to hundreds of international scouts as he plays in front of thousands of people against the top professional teams in the world. Unfortunately, the cost of the tournament is out of reach for him as it is mandatory that a parent accompanies him and we are requesting that our community help us reach his dream. The cost of the accommodations, travel, fees, and food is approx. $7200.00. We understand times are hard for everyone and every little bit helps. Please look deep into your heart and help as much as you can so a little boy who has worked his whole life can fulfill his destiny.
