I met Gabriel while volunteering for street outreach in Ottawa. Despite his challenges, his kindness, humility, and determination shine through. Originally from Montreal, Gabriel moved to Ottawa seeking opportunity but instead faced homelessness, violence, and uncertainty.
After careful thought, Gabriel has decided to return to Montreal, where shelters are safer, affordable housing is within reach, and he can begin rebuilding his life. Gabriel has a clear vision:
Find safe shelter and stability.
Pursue web programming studies to build a career and share his story.
