Help Gabrielle and Terrence rebuild after a fire.

Hi everyone,
My name’s Gabrielle. My boyfriend Terrence and I recently (August 26th,2023) lost our apartment to a fire. This apartment has been our home for the last four years. It was the first apartment we shared as a couple and we have poured so much love And time into making it our own not only for us but also for my boyfriends 7 year old son. We unfortunately do not have renters insurance and have to rely on the kindness of others to get through this dark time.
We’re unsure how the fire started but by the time we noticed it was on the roof and spreading extremely fast. Thankfully, everyone in our apartment building and the one next to us (that was also affected) made it out safely. I truly believe this was in large part due to the quick thinking of my boyfriend (Terrence) who alerted everyone by knocking on doors and pulling the apartments fire alarm as it hadn’t gone off yet. We’ve lost everything and are still unsure if we’re going to be permitted to even go into our apartment to try to salvage anything due to all the structural damage. Although some things are irreplaceable (childhood photo albums and pictures and momentos from our loved ones who have passed away) we do need help replacing what we can that has been lost.
Whatever you’re able to give is greatly appreciated, as are any positive thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. If you’re unable to donate please help us by sharing this fundraiser with your friends and family. Thank you for taking the time to read this and also for helping support us in any possible way.
