Help Gaby, a dear journalist fighting cancer
Donation protected
Gaby and other journalists in Tijuana have faced health and violence situations in Mexico, where reporters lack the medical services and benefits that allow them to cope.
Journalists in Tijuana do not want our dear colleagues to reach a stage of greater risk. Your colleagues have proposed to raise funds, some will contribute as much as they can out of their pockets, some will donate what they earn in working days, but today we need your help.
While Gaby faces a cancer diagnosis, and needs urgent studies, other reporters suffered violent situations that resulted in injuries and loss of their equipment.
If you contribute to Gaby, you help strengthen one of the pillars of journalism on the border between Mexico and the United States, as well as a guide of international reporters who come to the region to corroborate facts and stories.
This is a call from journalists in Tijuana: if you now help Gaby and other reporters who also need help, you strengthen the necessary good journalism on the border.
Thanks.
