Help Gaia recover from brutal attack by large dog

Hi,

My name is Will - I am putting together this GoFundMe for Malgorzata - she is the owner of one and a half year old Gaia. She is in need of very urgent and costly care please help however you can.

On Friday 25th of August outside B&Q on Cricklewood Lane Gaia was attacked by a large dog - this attack resulted in a large amount of Gaias skin being torn from her back.

 

In the aftermath of the attack Gaia ran off and hid - it took 8 hours to find her. She was initially sighted on the railway tracks, later in the Jewsons yard but was eventually found in the allotments by the railway terraces just as night fell. 

Given the length of time between the attack and us finding Gaia, lots of dirt and debris made it into her wounds which means that more skin will need to be removed once she is operated on.

She has been at the Hendon Medivet veterinary practice since Friday night and is expected she will need to stay there for a couple of weeks. The vet bill is already very large and Malgorzata unfortunately doesn't have insurance for Gaia.

Any money you can spare would be hugely appreciated - Gaia is a much loved member of the family and we hope to provide her with the care she needs!
