Help Garrett fight Melanoma
Donation protected
Our family friend, Garrett Gardiner, has been diagnosed with stage 2/3 Melanoma. The stage will be confirmed upon surgery. Garrett had a mole removed from the upper right portion of his back 1 month ago. On June 13, Garrett and his wife Jaclyn, went to U of M to meet with his surgeon. The surgeon reported that Garret’s mole was 1.9mm in depth.
The surgeon will complete Garret’s surgery on July 12. A blue dye as well as a radioactive solution will be injected into the melanoma site (where the mole was) to see where the radiotracer will go. Any tissue that is blue from the dye, or hot from the solution will be removed to see if the cancer has spread, also removing the sentinel lymph nodes. Post surgery, Garrett will not be able to work, or lift anything over 10 lbs for 4-6 weeks. Further treatment options will be considered upon surgery.
Garrett is a father to three, beautiful little boys. Grayson-4, Jackson-1, as well as their newborn baby Jamison-6weeks. We want to make sure Garrett will be here to help Jaclyn spoil their sweet babies for many years to come.
During treatment, both Garrett and his wife Jaclyn will not be able to work, placing them in a overwhelming financial position without any income.
Anyone who knows this family, knows of their kindness and generosity towards others.
Emotional and financial support is needed at this time, and please know that any donation or prayer will tremendously help this family.
Thank You,
Love, Stephanie & Patrick
