They lost everything! Help us rebuild their lives

Hi my name is Hailey and I am raising funds for my mum Darlene & step Dad Gary who have lost everything to a house fire.

On 23rd of January 2022, a fire engulfed their home and they have lost everything. Not a single personal item is left. They barely, and I mean barely, escaped with their lives. Mum has broken her leg quite badly, escaping through a window and Gary has superficial burns and a broken heart.

Sadly Mum and Gary, like many others, have been down on their luck. Gary has no work due to Covid19 and Mum being very unwell with Rheumatoid Arthritis. As a result, the home was sadly not insured.

Gary has spent 30+ years building his home by hand. Every brick that was laid, was laid by him. Every wall, surface and window all installed by his hand. All is now gone in a matter of hours.

We are hoping to raise enough funds to repair and rebuild the home and furnish the property again so they have a roof over their heads. Every cent will help them slowly rebuild.
