Help Gary Miller With His ALS Diagnosis
Donation protected
Dear Family and Friends,
We are reaching out to let you know we are kicking off a campaign to help our father , brother, son and friend, Gary Miller.
Gary was recently diagnosed with ALS which has been progressing rapidly. Although there is no cure, there are treatments and lifestyle modifications that can be made in order to make him as comfortable as possible and allow him to remain at home.
To know Gary is to love him. He is an amazing father to his four children, avid photographer, bee-keeper, and the raucous-red-headed son, brother, and uncle who brings laughter with him everywhere he goes.
The news of this illness has been devastating to Gary and his family. If you are familiar with ALS and its symptoms, you know it can be a very cruel disease. Our goal is to raise $50,000 to help off-set medical expenses.
These expenses include: costs of trial medication to slow the disease progression (note: medication is not covered by insurance), mobility devices/wheelchairs, modifications to his home environment to make it handicap accessible (widening doors, adding ramps, bath tub and toilet adaptations, etc).
