Help Gathered Rebuild Their Pastry Kitchen
Donation protected
After 5 years at 12th & Exchange, Gathered is in need of a new home. As much as we know that it’s time to move on, we're genuinely struggling to put words to what it’s meant to hold this space. We’ve had the privilege to celebrate life’s milestones alongside our neighbors, feeding our community, and spending our Sundays yapping on the corner with fellow townies. While we’ll have to reimagine what this looks like in the future, we're always seeking out new ways to connect with our community through and over food.
The good news is that we've found the perfect spot to rebuild a little pastry kitchen all our own, but we need some help funding the transition. With a limited amount of time and Big list of projects to tackle, we're humbly asking for support to help keep us operating uninterrupted.
We look forward to reopening our doors to the public, but first we need a kitchen to bake in. Here's what we're looking at, in order of priority and cost:
Plumbing updates: $20,000-$25,000
New water line from city: $6,000
Electrical panel & wiring: $10,000
Inspections, Permits & Licensing: $930 total
Equipment: $3,000 total
Ceiling updates to meet fire code: $2,000-$4,000
Stretch goal: With any additional funding, we'd love to hire a local artist to create signage and a mural on the building.
